Scheduling & rostering · On its own or with the rest of OpsChase
Class timetables, staff rosters and shifts, across every site you run.
Build the class timetable, roster staff against it and offer open shifts on their phone. Staff confirm or swap, and every shift turns into a timesheet. Run it for one site or many, on its own or beside your jobs and assets.

Staff rosters and shifts
- Weekly rosters for every site, built from shift patterns you reuse
- Open shifts offered on staff phones; staff confirm, decline or swap
- Managers see the gaps at every site before the week starts
- Timesheets come straight from the shift, ready for payroll
- Staff certificates on file, so you roster people who are cleared for the work
Class timetables
- Build the class timetable once and repeat it week to week
- Every class has a coach or instructor, and cover is offered when someone drops out
- Move a class and the roster moves with it
- Front desk and cleaning shifts built around the timetable
- One timetable per site, or a shared timetable across clubs
Shifts and jobs on one board, if you want it
If you also run jobs in OpsChase, classes, shifts and jobs sit on the same board for each site. If you only roster, the board shows classes and shifts alone.
- Jobs keep their own proof and invoice, whoever did the work
- Messages about a shift stay on the shift, not in a group chat
- Staff certificates on file before anyone is rostered on

Roster-only apps vs OpsChase
Most roster apps answer one question: who is on shift today. OpsChase rosters any team, runs class timetables across your sites, and adds jobs, assets and compliance when you want them.
Roster-only apps
- Often built for one job: who is on shift today
- Class timetables often kept in a separate booking tool
- Many work one site at a time, with no view across every location
- Usually lives apart from your jobs, assets and compliance records
- Timesheets often exported by hand at the end of the week
OpsChase scheduling
- Class timetables, staff rosters and shifts on one board
- Every site’s roster in one view, one site or many
- Staff get shifts on their phone and confirm or swap them
- Timesheets straight from the shift
- Switch on jobs, assets or compliance later, on the same login
Scheduling questions, answered
Timetables, rosters, sites and how scheduling fits the rest of OpsChase.
How pricing works- Can we use rostering without anything else?
- Yes. Many businesses start with rosters and shifts only. Jobs, assets, compliance and contractor management are there to switch on later, on the same login.
- Can we roster against a class timetable?
- Yes. Build the timetable once, give each class a coach or instructor, and OpsChase offers the class to other staff when someone can’t make it.
- Can we run rosters for more than one site?
- Yes. Each site has its own roster and timetable, and managers see every site on one board. A site is any place you run from, including a depot or base.
- Can staff confirm, decline or swap shifts?
- Yes. Shifts are offered on staff phones with confirm and decline, and staff can ask to swap. The manager sees every answer before the shift starts and can offer it to someone else.
- Do you handle timesheets?
- Yes. Each shift becomes a timesheet line, so payroll sees the same hours the roster showed.
- Do you keep staff licences and certificates?
- Yes. Licences, certificates and induction records sit on each staff profile, so managers can check them before rostering someone on.
- Is scheduling a separate OpsChase product?
- No. Scheduling uses the same OpsChase login and board as everything else. Use it on its own, or switch on jobs, assets, compliance or contractor management alongside it.
